| From the moment I first set eyes on this marina I knew that I had to paint it. The boats, anchored in their slips, seemed so majestic. It was an overcast late afternoon when I began to paint. The light was fading fast so I worked frantically. I was not able to complete the painting before darkness overtook me. I was able to complete the piece the next day. Fortunately, the weather had not changed. |
