| I had driven by this property several years before but had never stopped until now. As I walked up the path toward the old farmhouse, I noticed a woman coming towards me. We struck up a conversation, and once she learned that I was an artist, she was eager to tell me the history of the place. I was disconcerted to learn that all the neighbouring properties had been sold to developers for housing. |
