| This painting was done exclusively from memory. It shows a man and a woman out in a small boat fishing. The man is leaning over the side of the boat looking into a glass bucket. This is done to determine if there are fishes in the water below. This is a practice that has almost disappeared from the Islands. I am pleased with my ability to capture the colours and feel of the water. |
